Please join us for our upcoming season. Our only live concert will be the return of Jim and Susie Malcolm to the stage of the Focal Point on Friday, October 7, 2022 for a fundraiser for the Focal Point.
Artists in Residence Schedule
Dates TBA – Interdisciplinary Project—CONNECTIONS: ROBERT BURNS AND PAUL LAURENCE DUNBAR—VOICES OF THE PEOPLE – MK Stallings, William Ray, Thomasina Clarke, Jil Chambless, Diane McCullough, Carrie Pace, Gina Pereda - This will mostly take place at St. Gabriel the Archangel in January 2023 with MK Stallings and Diane McCullough. Other artists will be part of the project but in recorded video.
Dates TBA – Scottish traditional fiddle with Brian McNeill - Brian will be virtual in several schools in the fall of 2022.
Dates TBA – Scots Song with Jil Chambless - Jil will work with local schools in late January, 2023. No concert is planned at this time.
Felting workshop for teachers - Missouri Arts Educators Association Spring Conference in St. Louis - “THE ART AND SCIENCE OF FELTING” - with Jessi Cerutti & Gina Pereda - Check back for dates. Our artists have presented at the MAEA workshop for several years in a row.
Jim & Susie Malcolm - Friday, October 7, 2022 - 8:00 p.m. - Focal Point, 2720 Sutton Blvd., Maplewood, MO 6314. This concert is sponsored by SPAE. All ticket sales will be given to the Focal Point as a fundraiser.
